The Market of St. Michael (‘Michelimarkt’) is held once a year, on the last Saturday in September. It was originally established in 1920 as a market where livestock and useful household and farming items were sold, then transported in baskets. Today, the market is held in a large green area in the Trattla leisure centre, which offers a beautiful view over the mountains. Here, visitors will find a bit of everything, from pots and pans to agricultural machinery, from clothing items to shoes, from herbs to typical local wine and food products such as speck ham and cheeses, yoghurt and sweets.
